It's Friday, People!!

Happy, happy, Friday! Praise the Lord it was only a 4 day week. I'm not exactly sure if I could've handled any longer. I think it's finally starting to hit me that I'm a serious 9-5'er (yes that's a verb) and no longer a college student. Boy, does the work week wear me out.

Just yes.

Here are some of my favorites from this week.

ONE

I can't believe that I'm really typing this but I've really been lovin' on Justin Bieber lately. Growing up, I never fell for the typical boy band phenomenon in high school. I didn't care for Justin Bieber when he was new and I was never a One Direction fan. I'll probably be stoned for that.

Seriously, he's come a longgggg way *insert me gawking*

But JBiebz has reinvented himself lately and I've really started to enjoy his music and he's looking a lot better to me these days...:) His new song What Do you Mean? is so good and recently I heard the acoustic version and about died. He has a great voice!

TWO

I remember when I was little and my Mom watched Oprah that she often had Nate Berkus on her show. He's a fantastic interior designer. Well recently, his husband and him had a baby girl, Poppy. First of all, I adore the name Poppy. I have a thought that I might name my future daughter Poppy Katherine after my Grandma and sister. But that's irrelevant :)

Recently in Architectural Digest they showed off Poppy's nursery. It's absolutely beautiful and everything I could dream of for a nursery. I love that it's neutral but has feminine touches. I love femininity through unconventional items...does that make sense? Like the frames and the texture.

It's so beautiful. Nate...call me in 7 is years when it's my turn to have a Poppy? Okay, great :)

THREE

Well last week I told you a little about my plunge to go blonder. Well I'm still loving it and have received great feedback! I love the most that it's so natural looking and that it just looks like I went out in the sun for vacation. On the way to work the other day I was looking extra blonde and really liked it. I'm so happy I changed it up!

I chuckled at this picture because I always tend to take my selfies in the car on the way to work! Hey, whatever works, right?

P.S. I fill my eyebrows in because they are so blonde. But I like a bolder brow.

FOUR

Last but certainly not least, my blogger friend, Julie, did it again! She's such a sweetheart and nominated me for the award. This award is a great way to inspire people through blogging. My answers are pretty short because I'm only month 3 into my blogging life. I can't wait to look back at these answers in a few years and see how far I've come.

How did my blog get started? Check out my first post ever, Sisterhood of the World post and my Liebster Award post to read more about what inspired me to start my blog!

Advice to new bloggers? Pay someone to help you design your page. It can be pricey but it's an investment that is worthwhile. I was able to fully customize my design so that I loved it and made a blogger platform look more professional. I used Rebekah Lousie Designs...check her out!

I'm going to skip the nomination part because honestly, Julie and I have very similar blogger friends :)

FIVE

Today, I'm thinking about the time I was in 3rd grade and my parents sat me down to tell me about the awful events of September 11th. My prayers and thoughts are with the vicitms' families on this tough day. I pray they find comfort and peace as they navigate through grief.

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid"
-John 14:27

I'm adding some new linkups for this Friday!

I hope that everyone has a great weekend! I'm looking forward to hanging out with friends and heading to church this weekend! xoxo
