Post Grad in Progress

Well...here goes nothing. I cannot believe this day is finally here! It has been on my heart to start a blog for over a year now. I have always loved writing and sharing ideas with my friends and family so a blog felt like a natural step. It especially became important to me as I accepted a job in the financial industry to have an outlet to challenge myself creatively since I won't have much creativity room in my job. I moved to a new city (I'll blog about that soon!) so my blog will also be a way for my family and friends who are far away to stay up-to-date on my life!

I hope this blog can be an inspiration to everyone to DIY instead of buy, slow cook instead of order in, try a bold lipstick over chapstick, and more. Overall, I want people to see that I have a passion for life and people.

Publishing this post scares me to death. I would be lying if I said I was 100% excited about putting myself out there like this. But I'm not. I love, love, love my blog content but am scared of people's reactions. This is the ultimate "putting yourself out there" experience but I firmly believe it is healthy to challenge yourself, so here I am.

So what should I expect at PostGrad in Progress? I hopefully will post Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of every week with a variety of posts from recipes I wrote or reviewed, DIY projects & Decor, beauty reviews, and happenings in my life.
