Decor Splurge & Steals

Half. Way. There. Just kidding...sort of. I'm so grateful for a job and to be alive but I'd be lying if I didn't say I live for the weekends. It's a hard adjustment from full time student to full time "yo pro" as I like to call it ;). But hey, you live and you learn.

I do want to thank you all for your kind words and encouragement about my trip post on Monday. I really think this will be a life altering trip and I cannot wait for the journey ahead. I am so blessed by you all.

Well back to today's scheduled post...decor. I mentioned in my September goals was to work on decorating my living room. Granted, I've made baby steps because I'm not rolling in the dough and I'm working on paying for a trip to Europe...pray for my budget, people. But this weekend I picked up some great items for good prices. 

I've been wanting a lantern and candle sticks for either side of my tv in my living room. I wanted to share some splurge items and the steals I found!

I still need to buy some candles but Michaels didn't have any that tricked my trigger. I'm looking for a certain size and off white. I'll be on the lookout.

Oh, P.S. that orange pumpkin...I have a DIY idea to make it less prison jumpsuit orange and more neutral to work well with my decor. Stay tuned ;) Have a great day, y'all! xoxo
