Sisterhood of the World

One of my sweet blogger friends, Molly from Colors of Life Blog, nominated me for Sisterhood of the World Award. Basically, it's away for blogger friends to get to know each other better. I've loved "meeting" Molly from her blog. I'm so honored to have been chosen--thanks Molly!

So without further adieu, here are my answers to Molly's questions!

1. Tell me something most people don't know about you.

Well, there's way too many things to count! I'm a really open book. Seriously, ask my coworkers, friends, family, etc. They know way too many of my quirks! But for my blogger friends who are just getting to know me here are a few things. (You couldn't think I'd just pick one!)

I love dogs and want one so badly but for several reasons I can't have one. So my natural reaction was to get a fish. I'm obsessed with him. He's a Clemson colored Betta fish named Matt-Lauer McGreevy. He does not like being called just Matt ;)

He provides me with way too much entertainment considering he's a fish!

Another thing, last spring I had the amazing opportunity (Thanks Mom and Dad!) to go to Sochi, Russia for the Paralympics. It was such a once in a lifetime experience.

2. Who is one blogger you have to read everyday?

Okay, I have my routine so I can't just pick one. Here are some (not all!) of my favorites.

3. What is the best concert you've been to?

I'm not a huge concert person, shocking, I know! But hands down, my favorite was my church's live recording a little over a week ago. I mentioned in my Friday Favorites. It's so powerful to see God in action.

4. How many kids do you want?

I want 3! My Mom always says, have them 1 at a time so we'll see if it changes. I love kids so much that I can't wait till that phase of life.

5. What inspired you to start your blog?

Well, after a year or two of reading some of my favorite bloggers, I decided that I wanted to start my own. I really wanted a creative outlet like I mentioned in my first post but also I wanted the challenge. I'm constantly trying new things and challenging myself. I'm so glad I stuck my neck out there!

I love to cook, craft, try beauty products, etc. so this is a great way for me to bring my hobbies to life! And let's be real, it's so much fun!

6. What are you most proud of?

Wow, that's a hard question. I feel like I haven't really had a moment that I'm like, "Wow I'm so proud of myself." That probably sounds cynical, but I set high goals for myself. Of course, graduating from college was an accomplishment but I never was not going to graduate. I didn't allow myself that option. So if I had to choose, I would probably say, my time as President of the Panhellenic Council at Clemson. It was a lot of work, tears, and time but it was all worth it. I met lifelong friends and had invaluable experiences.

Look at that headshot action hahaha!

7. What is your favorite holiday?

Christmas, hands down. I don't like just the actual day, I love the whole season leading up till Christmas. Everyone is a little kinder and happier. I love planning Christmas meals and decorating for the day. Here are a few pictures of our past Christmas...

8. If you had to give me one piece of advice what would it be?

Life's too short for waiting for tomorrow. Life goes too quickly and we can never know where the current will take us. So, if you want to develop a better relationship with God then read your Bible today. If you want a job with your dream company, send in your application today. Sounds cliche but it's true. I have to remind myself of this ALL. THE. TIME.

9. If you had to live off one food for the rest of your life what would it be?

Easy, pancakes. Weirdest favorite food ever, am I right???

10. Link to your favorite blog post you've written.

Probably my Anthropologie Hack Coasters because it was my first DIY for my blog and it received great feedback!!

Well, the next step is nominating 10 bloggers to answer questions too but.....Molly stole all my blogger friends haha! So I'll end it here. Thanks so much for reading and Molly, thanks for this opportunity!
