December Goals

Hi, hello, good morning! Hope everyone is having a great week! The week is flying by. Frankly, the year is flying by. I cannot believe I'm writing my December goals already. Seriously...how is it already Christmas season!? Don't get me wrong...I don't hate it. Well any who...let's check out how I did on my November goals.

NOVEMBER

1. Buy ACC Championship tickets. Done! This Saturday is the game at Bank of America stadium here in Charlotte. My friend, Max, and I are going and we are beyond excited! He's my Clemson buddy and I'm so thankful to have someone who loves Clemson as much as I do. Go Tigers!

2. Blog more recipes. Eek. Okay, well this was a little rough. I don't even have a great excuse to give y'all. But stay tuned! I did try this yummy cookie recipe...you should definitely check it out!

I also made a delicious brunch of Egg Pastries and Scones. I can't put into words how yummy these are!

3. Start Christmas shopping. Well, I've started. I've gotten a couple of gifts done but have awhile to go. I put so much pride into getting the right gifts but it's hard when your family has everything they need! Any ideas are appreciated!

4. Panther's game. Done! My cousin (and one of my best friends!) came to visit for the Panthers' game vs. the Redskins. It was a lot of fun and they kept their undefeated record! WHOO HOO! These are the only pictures we took though...

5. Lose 2 lbs....oops. Okay, well I ate this month, that's for sure. But it was fun doing it ;) I will work on this in the next few months! Especially after the holiday saeason.

DECEMBER

1. Celebrate my birthday! I am so excited for this one. My birthday is on Monday. I love my birthday. Even though I have to work this year I am excited to spend time with my parents this weekend and go to dinner with my friends on Monday!

2. Go Ice Skating. When Max and I went to watch the Clemson game the other week in the city we noticed them building the ice skating rink. I got so excited because I've never been ice skating! I think it'll be so much fun and a great Christmastime activity!

3. Plan for Christmas dinner from afar. Crying already over the fact that I have to work on Christmas eve. Seriously, that's no fun. But I still want to decorate our dinner table and plan the meal like I did last year. I wrote about our Christmas last year. You should check it out!

4. Plan and have book club. I've mentioned this before but we finally made some actual plans. In a couple of weeks we're having book club with my girlfriends from work! We're going to read Girl on a Train. I'm hosting at my apartment so I am so excited to plan. Here are some of my appetizer ideas...

5. Budget. So I've gone a little crazy with my spending lately. Luckily, I don;t have debt and I still pay my credit card bill off every month but I need reign in my spending, nonetheless. I would love to hear any tips, ideas, blogs, etc. to follow to help me!

Well, there you have it! I love Christmastime so much. I want to savor every single moment of the season. Have a great day friends! Friday Favorites coming up on Friday--see you then! xoxo

  4. Gift suggestion for family that has it all - silicone wine glasses! It's kind of silly but I bought some for my in-laws and I know they will get a kick out of them! You can pack them with you when you travel etc. Uncommon goods has them, and so does amazon but amazons are not in giftable packaging.

  5. I seriously cannot believe you've never been ice skating! Get out there girlie! We're in the same money boat. Like you said, luckily we don't have debt, but now I'm just like #buyallthethings. You do NOT need to focus on losing 2 pounds if you are enjoying your life and working out as much as you can. Just my two cents :)
