Happy Monday everyone! Hope y'all had a great weekend!
With my work schedule I need meals that are healthy and quick. The last thing I want to do when I come home after work is cook for an hour. So lately, I've been utilizing my crockpot! I have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to Slow cooking. Here are a few recipes I've tried and a few recipes I have planned to try. Let me know if there's any I should try!

I pinned this BBQ Chicken recipe from Family Fresh Meals and decided to try it out. It's delicious, quick, and uses simple ingredients. This recipe was handy for me because I can use it for lots of different meals...by itself, BBQ sandwiches, BBQ tacos, BBQ quesadillas, etc. This would be perfect for a BBQ with family and friends. You should try it!

Okay, these chicken fajitas from Love Grows Wild are my favorite, hands down! It's so easy and tasty. I love that it incorporates lots of veggies too. I've made this simple recipe several times now and love it. It's versatile like the last recipe and could easily be frozen for future meals. All I have to say is...yum!

Pasta is my weakness and especially a crockpot version! I read this recipe on Mix and Match Mama awhile back and decided to pin it. I tried it later and really loved it! I'm all about using veggies in meals in any way I can so I altered the recipe slightly by adding around a cup of vegetable medley. This would be a great food to eat when it's chilly!

Okay, this recipe might sound strange but it is DELICIOUS! I saw this recipe on I Heart Naptime but my mom made it for parties growing up all the time. The ingredients are unique (and there's only 3!) but it creates such flavor. It's can work for a party or even as a protein in a meal. Make these meatballs and pair with a big side salad and it can be dinner! Seriously, try these.

Doesn't this recipe from Chelsea's Messy Apron look divine!? It's one of the most unique crockpot recipes I've seen that's healthy and looks delicious. I think this might be apart of my meal planning soon.

This is a meal in a crockpot...it has your protein and your veggies. I found this recipe from NumsTheWord and can't wait to try it. I love fall and am counting down the days...this recipe screams fall to me :)

I've wanted to make this recipe from Mix and Match Mama forever but kept making excuses! I didn't want to make that much pork for just me and didn't want to buy soda (because I don't drink it) but time to stop with the excuses! I'm going to make this soon and freeze half of it for future meals. This looks so delicious!!

ReplyDeleteGirl, you need to pull it out and use it! It's seriously the best!
DeleteAh so many of these I want to try! Crock pot is always easier for me because by the time I get home from work, I definitely don't feel like cooking a whole meal. The cheesy quinoa sounds great and the creamy ranch chicken is right up my alley!

ReplyDeleteThank you!!
DeleteI will need these recipes once the school year starts! First year of teaching and I will most likely be dead tired come the end of the day...pinning these now!! Especially that enchilada quinoa!
ReplyDeleteIt's a struggle to come home from work and cook. By struggle, I mean it's impossible :) I wanted to try the Enchilada Quinoa yesterday but was bummed that the recipe calls for it to be cooked on high for 3 hours. I'll let you know if I try it on slow!
